Iowa Barnstormers Press Release

DES MOINES - After several major assignments on defense, the Iowa Barnstormers have added another player on the offensive side of the ball, as Head Coach and Director of Football Operations Mike Hohensee announced on Friday that quarterback Antwon Young has been assigned to Iowa for the 2013 season.

Young (6-4, 225, Villanova) played college football at Villanova from 2005-09. In 27 career games with the Wildcats, Young completed 62 percent of his passes for nearly 2,300 yards and scored 29 total touchdowns.

The rookie will likely backup incumbent starter J.J. Raterink coming into camp.
