ORLANDO - The Orlando Predators have been assigned wide receiver and kick returner Josh Bush, the team announced on Friday.
Bush (5-9, 165, Western Michigan), an eight-year veteran of the League, caught a career-high 115 passes for 1,799 yards and 37 touchdowns last season as a member of the New Orleans VooDoo. He spent the previous two seasons in Orlando, where he enjoyed his best statistical season as a kick returner in 2011, posting 72 returns for 1,339 yards and two scores.
"Josh is coming off one of his best statistical years, and is an incredible headache for defenses," Orlando Predators head coach Doug Plank said.
Prior to joining the AFL's Grand Rapids Rampage for his rookie season in 2004, Bush finished his career at Western Michigan as the school's all-time leader in punt return yards with 786. He ranks third in Broncos' history in receptions (150), fourth in receiving yards (1,899) and eighth in receiving touchdowns (12).
