NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans VooDoo Dolls Danielle and Marshe’ surprised 45 Ella Dolhonde Elementary School cheerleaders on Friday afternoon with free tickets to the Preauxs versus Jeauxs charity flag football game.  The Dolls donated $450 so that every cheerleader could have a ticket to go to the game.  

Ella Dolhonde cheerleaders will perform at Preauxs versus Jeauxs, marking a first for the dance squad since the school does not have athletic teams.  Dolls Danielle and Marshe’ spent some quality time with all of the cheerleaders, and even taught them a dance.

“We taught the cheerleaders how to do a player tunnel routine, the exact same one that we do at our VooDoo games when our players are announced,” said VooDoo Doll Danielle.  “Being around the children that this fundraiser will directly benefit makes it home and also makes you realize how important this event is.”

Preauxs versus Jeauxs will take place on Friday, January 27 at 7 p.m. in Pan American Stadium.  All of the proceeds go to Ella Dolhonde Elementary School to purchase books for its new library and to Each One Save One.  

The event will feature two games with the first being a contest between the VooDoo Dolls and some Ella Dolhonde teachers.  The VooDoo Dolls had a tryout on January 10 and VooDoo front office divided all participants into two teams, and the two teams will play the first game.  

The second game will be the main event with the PlayNOLA All-Stars versus VooDoo players.
