VooDoo Add Defensive Back Gladel Brutus

NEW ORLEANS – The Arena Football League (AFL) assigned DB Gladel Brutus to the New Orleans VooDoo, announced the VooDoo front office on Friday afternoon.

Brutus (6’0” 180 lbs. Benedict College), the Neptune, New Jersey native attended Benedict College from 2006-10, redshirting his freshman season.  Brutus attended Neptune High School where he only played one year of football, suiting up his senior season.  In his lone season on the prep level, Brutus totaled 60 tackles and four interceptions.

“Brutus is a skilled player that will challenge for a roster spot.  I like what I see on film of him,” said head coach Pat O’Hara.  “Training camp is getting closer and closer, and with each passing day I get more excited.”
