Rattlers Unveil Fundraising Program

MESA, Ariz. -The Arizona Rattlers unveiled plans today for a new fundraising project that will return 50 percent of ticket sales back to the individual participating groups and organizations.

"In 2011, we are embarking on a plan that will create an opportunity to raise money for good causes, something that this community desperately needs," Arizona Rattlers Managing Partner Mike Galloway said. "We are prepared to share 50 percent of our ticket sales with the community in the name of a few great causes. One of our major goals for 2011 is to raise $500,000 dollars."

Each participating group will be assigned a custom webpage, where they will be able to log in and place their ticket orders. Fifty percent of the money generated from these ticket orders will be returned to the respective group for the cause of their choice, as long as they meet a minimum number of tickets purchased for the 2011 season.

The Arizona Rattlers open their nine-game home schedule on March 12 against the Jacksonville Sharks.
