Brigade Host Valor Friday in First Matchup Since Week 1
The Baltimore Brigade and Washington Valor face off on Fri., June 23 at 7 p.m. at Royal Farms Arena, marking the teams’ second matchup of the season and first in Baltimore. The Valor are coming off a bye week while the Brigade look to rebound from their 59-48 Week-11 loss to the Cleveland Gladiators. The Valor won the teams’ Week 1 matchup, 51-38, at Verizon Center.

Around the time he was nine years old, Philadelphia Soul wide receiver Darius Reynolds got the nickname “Money.” He recalls, “It kind of happened with my brothers and I shooting basketball. One day I was making my shots consistently, so my brothers would keep saying “money” every time I shot the ball and from that day, it just kind of stuck with me as my name.”

Mykel Benson has had a few stops in his Arena Football League career. The Philadelphia Soul mark the sixth team in his six-year AFL career. But no matter where he has gone, Benson has been a tremendous producer on the ground. With his second touchdown of the game in Week 11 of the season, Benson became the fifth man in AFL history to reach 100 career rushing touchdowns.
