2007 (Columbus): Tied for 8th in AFL for FG with 10. Had his best game of the season on March 11, converting 6 of 6 extra points and made his only field goal attempt of 27 yards, ending the game with 9 points.

2006 (Grand Rapids): Finished second in the AFL amongst all kickers with 144 points by

converting 22 of 40 (.550) field goal attempts to finish 2nd in field goals made and fifth in field goal percentage. Collected a career highs in total points (15) on and field goals made (four) by connecting on four of five field goal attempts (16, 19, 25, 36) and making three of five extra point attempts in week 13. Martinez capped off his career night by kicking the game winner from 36 yards out to beat the Rattlers on April 23.

2005 (Grand Rapids): Named to the AFL’s All Rookie Team, his 139 points scored was good for fifth best in the AFL. Connected on 85 of 95 (.895) extra point attempts and 18 of 44 (.409) field goal attempts including his career long of 52 yards. His 18 field goals made were good for second best in the AFL while finishing 10th with 85 extra points made.

Other Professional Experience: Played for the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz of the af2 in 2004 and was named af2 Kicker of the Year and selected to the First Team All-af2 after leading the league in scoring by kickers with 126 points. Spent 2003 with the Roanoke Steam of the af2 where he converted 34-of-47 extra points and 14-of-22 field goals.

College: Walked on at Western Kentucky and went on to compile 279 points on 46 of 69 field goals and 132 of 137 PAT

Personal: Resides in Nashville, TN during the off-season with his wife, Katie.
