Professional Career: The last original member of the Rush, Jamie agreed to a one-year deal for the 2005 season November 2, 2004... also has played with New England and Albany in the AFL.

·   was originally acquired January 19, 2001, from Toronto with quarterback Tim Carey in exchange for a 2nd-round pick in the expansion draft...signed a two-year contract extension after the 2002 season.

·   has captured three Ironman of the Game awards (February 22, 2004 vs. Colorado, May 16, 2004 vs. Dallas and April 28, 2001, vs. Carolina) and two Game MVP awards (May 25, 2001, at Milwaukee and June 8, 2002, vs. Detroit).

·   earned Ironman of the Game honors after the quarterfinal game (August 5 vs. Dallas) in the 2002 playoffs and after the Round 1 contest in 2003 (May 25 at New York)...also named ADT Defensive Player of the Game in June 6, 2004 quarterfinal playoff win vs. Orlando. 

2004 SEASON: Jamie had a solid season for the Rush, gaining 99 yards on 36 carries in 13 games...also recorded 16.5 tackles and a career-high 3.0 sacks.

·   named ADT Defensive Player of the Game in June 6, 2004 quarterfinal playoff win vs. Orlando...recorded 5.5 tackles and 1 sack in the game.

·   missed a chance to rush for 100 yards for a second straight season when an ankle injury forced him to miss the season-finale May 30 at Colorado.

·   rushed for 10 yards and made 1.0 tackles, earning U.S. Army Ironman of the Game honors May 16 vs. Dallas.

·   missed the March 21 game vs. Orlando and March 28 game vs. Detroit with an ankle injury.

·   voted U.S. Army Ironman of the Game after scoring 2 TDs and rushing for 22 yards February 22 vs. Colorado. 

2003: Rushed for career-high 122 yards on 47 carries in 14 games...scored 9 rushing touchdowns and made 20.5 tackles.

·   became the first Chicago player to rush for over 100 yards in a season with his season-high 21 yards (on 6 attempts) April 27 vs. Grand Rapids.

·   finished among the league leaders in rushing attempts (5th), rushing touchdowns (tied for 6th), rushing yards (7th) and yards per rush (2.6, 9th).

·   scored 2 rushing touchdowns and made a season-high 3.5 tackles May 11 vs. Arizona — it was the eighth time in his career that he scored at least two rushing touchdowns in a contest.

·   rushed for 20 yards March 29 at Grand Rapids ... also had games of 17 yards (April 20 vs. Dallas) and 16 yards (April 13 at Colorado).

·   was inactive for the March 9 and March 16 contests due to a partially separated shoulder. 

2002: Saw action in 10 games, recording 44 rushing yards on 29 attempts and making 25.5 tackles ... tied for 3rd in the league with 10 rushing touchdowns.

·   was on injured reserve April 15-May 17 with a partially torn left quadriceps tendon and missed 4 games.

·   scored three times in his return to the lineup May 18 vs. Georgia, finding the end zone on a pair of 1 yard runs and a career-long 39-yard reception.

·   had an excellent defensive game July 13 vs. Dallas, recording 4.5 tackles and 1.0 sack.

·   earned Game MVP honors June 8 vs. Detroit after scoring 2 touchdowns and recording his first Rush sack ... his first sack since June 16, 2000, vs. Carolina.

·   had a season-high 5.0 tackles, scored 2 rushing touchdowns and forced a fumble May 25 at Arizona. 

2001: Was a true two-way player for the Rush, scoring 9 touchdowns and making a career-high 35.0 tackles ... was the starting fullback/linebacker for all 14 games.

·   scored the first rushing touchdown in Rush history April 28 vs. Carolina ... also had the first rushing attempt in team history during the 1st quarter April 21 at Oklahoma.

·   scored a career-high 4 touchdowns (including 3 rushing) and rushed for 28 yards May 25 at Milwaukee to earn Game MVP honors for the first time in his career.

·   had the first multi-touchdown game of his career May 12 vs. Indiana, scoring on a 1-yard run and a 13-yard pass.

·   saved 2 of his best games for the Milwaukee Mustangs, rushing 12 times for 40 yards and 5 touchdowns. 

2000: Rushed for 37 yards and made 21.5 tackles in 12 games for New England.

·   rushed for a career-high 34 yards June 9 at San Jose.

·   against Los Angeles June 3, he caught a 31-yard touchdown pass from current Rush quarterback Tim Carey.

·   recorded his first career sack June 16 against Carolina. 

1999: Saw his first Arena action, playing in 3 games for Albany — the ArenaBowl champions ... made his AFL debut May 15 vs. Buffalo.

·   caught his only pass of the season and first career touchdown May 22 vs. Arizona — a 38-yard pass from Jeff Loots.

·   scored his first rushing touchdown (9 yards) July 2 vs. New England. 

1998: Spent the season on Albany’s practice squad. 

COLLEGE CAREER: Jamie was a four-year starter at Springfield (MA) College (1993-1996).

·   after the 1996 season, he was named to the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III all-America team.

·   was selected to the all-Freedom Football Conference team after his junior and senior seasons.

·   was a four-time winner of the Springfield College Male Athlete of the Year Award.
