TAMPA BAY -- Tampa Bay Storm quarterback
Brett Dietz and wide receiver Tyrone Timmons joined the Friends of Joshua House
and professional wrestlers; Al Green, Santino Marella, Buck Wild and former
South Florida Bull Dan “The Big Deal” Rodman, as they spread holiday cheer for
the children of the Lutz, Florida Joshua House at a local Target Supercenter
this past Saturday.
The
players and wrestlers arrived at Target on a fire truck accompanied by Santa
Claus to the cheers of the children. “It was real special to see the smiles on
the faces of all the kids as we pulled up on the fire truck,” said Dietz. After
arriving at the store, the players passed out Storm backpacks as they greeted
the children.
Volunteers
from the Friends of Joshua House chaperoned the children taking them Christmas
shopping with gift cards supplied by Target. As the children looked for gifts
for their loved ones, Dietz, Timmons and the wrestlers signed autographs, took
pictures and talked with the children. In addition the children were met at the
registers by a group of carolers signing Christmas carols.
