AFL—2006

  • He earned Ironman of the Game honors against Tampa Bay (4/15) when he made four tackles and caught at 24-yard touchdown pass.
  • Against San Jose (4/22), he made three tackles, recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass and was named ADT Defensive Player of the Game.

2005

  • Played in six games and started one for the Austin Wranglers.
  • Defensively, contributed 14.5 tackles and two pass breakups.

2004

  • Spent eight weeks on the Austin Wranglers practice squad.
  • Was then promoted to active roster on May 22.
  • Played in the two final games for the Wranglers and accumulated four solo tackles. 

OTHER PRO EXPERIENCE

  • Spent the 2003 summer season with the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe.  Led the team in interceptions with three for 78 yards.  Posted 60 total tackles on the season, 50 solo, 10 assists, 10 passes defended and one forced fumble.
  • Signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on July 15, 2003 but was released prior to the start of the regular season.
  • Started all 10 regular season games in 2002 and World Bowl X for the Rhein Fire.  Recorded 34 tackles, three interceptions for 78 yards, four pass defensed and nine special team takedowns.
  • Was originally allocated to NFL Europe by the Denver Broncos in 2002.
  • Signed by the Denver Broncos in 2001 but was released prior to the start of the regular season.
  • Later signed to the Broncos’ practice squad on December 11, 2001.

COLLEGE

  • Played in 43 career games for the University of Texas (1997-2000).
  • Twice earned Honorable Mention All-Big 12 honors.
  • Had 168 tackles (112 solo), six interceptions (57 yards, two touchdowns) eight pass defensed and three forced fumbles, 68 stops (52 solo), four interceptions and seven pass breakups as a senior. 
  • Earned second-team Academic All-Big 12 recognition as a junior.
  • Was a three-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
  • Majored in physical education.
