Clevan Thomas vs. DeJuan Alfonzo

The Second Round of Who's Got It Goin' On? is officially underway as San Jose SaberCats DB Clevan Thomas defeated Chicago Rush WR/DB DeJuan Alfonzo with 51% of the vote.  The winner will face Dallas Desperados QB Clint Dolezel in the Quarterfinals as he defeated Los Angeles Avengers WR Kevin Ingram with 55% of the vote.

 

First Round Recap: San Jose SaberCats DB Clevan Thomas defeated Colorado Crush QB John Dutton with 58% of the vote.  Chicago Rush WR/DB DeJuan Alfonzo defeated Utah Blaze QB Joe Germaine with 55% of the vote.

 

DB Clevan Thomas (San Jose SaberCats) – A six-year AFL veteran who has established himself as one of the League’s premier defensive backs...Tied for third in the League with nine INTs in 2007...Also totaled 86.0 tackles and 21 pass break ups...Named the AFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 2002 and 2003.

 

 

WR/LB DeJuan Alfonzo (Chicago Rush) – Is one of the AFL’s top two-way players seeing action on both offense and defense...Played the majority of snaps on the defensive side of the ball last year and finished ninth in the League with 92.0 tackles...Also played a handful of games on offense and grabbed 27 passes for 245 yards and seven scores to go along with another seven rushing touchdowns...Is one of the League’s most versatile players.
