PROFESSIONAL: 2007: In Filer’s second season with the Tampa Bay Strom, he played in four games. Offensively, he rushed 27 times for 100 yards and nine touchdowns. He also logged three receptions for 20 yards. Defensively, he registered 3.0 total tackles. 2006: Filer played in 14 games with the Storm and rushed 25 times for 122 yards and one touchdown. He also recorded five receptions for 26 yards. Defensively, Filer also tallied 19.0 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for a loss, one pass breakup, two forced fumbles, and one recovered fumble. 2005: Filer was acquired by the Las Vegas Gladiators and appeared n 14 games. He established new career highs in rushing with 27 carries for 105 yards, resulting in three touchdowns. He also set a new career high with 12 receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Filer also totaled 20.0 tackles, including 2.5 for a loss, 1.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. 2004: Filer appeared in 14 games with the New York Dragons. He led the Dragons in rushing with 84 yards and three touchdowns on 34 attempts. He also recorded five receptions for 26 yards. On defense, he totaled 15.5 tackles, including 2.0 for a loss, and 1.0 sack. 2003: With the Dragons, Filer played in all 16 games and was named Second Team All-Arena. He recorded 21 carries for 88 rushing yards, and a career high of seven rushing touchdowns. Filer also caught three passes for 29 yards. Defensively, he totaled 26.0 tackles, including 2.0 for a loss, 2.0 sacks, one interception, two pass breakups, and three forced fumbles. 2002: Filer played in 13 games with the Dragons carrying the ball 11 times for 21 yards, resulting in three touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 20 yards. Filer also registered a career high of 29.5 tackles, including 2.0 for a loss, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. 2001: In his first year with the Dragons, he played in 11 games. Filer rushed the ball nine times for 19 yards, and four touchdowns. In addition, he also caught two passes for 33 yards and one touchdown. On defense, he recorded 28.5 tackles, including 2.0 for a loss, 1.0 sack, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble. Filer was also a member of the NFL’s New York Jets practice squad. 2000: Filer played in 13 games for the Iowa Barnstormers. He rushed five times for 14 yards and two touchdowns. He also recorded five passes for 14 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, he tallied 20.5 tackles with 2.0 sacks accounting for 22 yards lost. 1999: In Filer’s rookie season with the Barnstormers, he caught two passes for 50 yards, both resulting in touchdowns. On defense, he recorded 6.0 tackles. 1997: Filer was signed to the practice squad of the San Diego Chargers and attended pre-season camp.

COLLEGE: Filer was a four-year letter winner for Iowa at fullback. He finished with 37 rushes, for 249 yards and three touchdowns in his junior year. Filer was also named Offensive MVP in a game against Iowa State where he tallied 113 yards rushing and one touchdown as a senior. He also recorded a 14-yard rushing touchdown in the 1996 Alamo Bowl.
