PROFESSIONAL: 2007: In McKelvey’s second year with the Philadelphia Soul, he played in 13 games. He caught 50 receptions for 544 yards and 19 touchdowns. Defensively, he tallied 19.5 total tackles and two pass breakups. 2006: He played in 11 games and recorded 36 receptions for 589 yards and 12 touchdowns. Defensively, he also recorded 21.0 total tackles one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one pass breakup. 2005: McKelvey played in 16 games for the Manchester Wolves (af2). He was the league leader in receptions with 138 and second in the League in scoring with 298 points. He recorded 1,454 yards and 44 touchdowns. On defense, he tallied 21.5 tackles, one sack, one interception that was returned for a touchdown, and two pass breakups. McKelvey was named to the 2005 American Conference All-af2 Team, in addition to being named af2 Ironman of the Game and Offensive Player of the Game four times. 2004: He played in six games for the Wolves and recorded 24 receptions for 266 yards including three touchdowns. He also rushed seven times for 18 yards with three touchdowns. Defensively, he tallied nine tackles, one sack, and one interception. 2003: McKelvey spent time with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

COLLEGE: McKelvey attended Clemson University where he was a three year letter winner for the Tigers. In his 37 career games, he caught 84 passes for 1,277 yards and eight touchdowns. In his 2002 senior season he caught 52 passes for a team leading 752 yards.

PERSONAL: McKelvey attended Berkley High School in Moncks Corner, SC. As a senior in 1997, he had 43 tackles, nine interceptions and returned three of those for touchdowns. Offensively, he had 22 receptions for four touchdowns. In addition to playing football he played baseball, basketball, and ran track. In basketball he was an All-Region basketball player as a senior in addition to earning four letters. In his free time, McKelvey enjoys playing basketball, sleeping and playing video games.
