QB Shane Stafford, then with the Tampa Bay Storm

In celebration of the Arena Football League's rich history, we will be revisiting the 20 Greatest Highlights as voted on by the 20th Season Historical Committee.  After all 20 have been played, we want you, the fans, to vote on which highlight you thought was the best.

#16: Trip and Score - (July 21, 2001) - The New Jersey Gladiators led the Tampa Bay Storm by five points with just 15 seconds remaining.  Storm QB Shane Stafford took the snap, tripping over his offensive lineman and fell to the turf while losing his shoe.  Stafford was able to get up and toss a 8-yard touchdown pass to WR James Bowden for the 44-41 win.

#17: Predators, Crush kick to win ArenaBowl - (August 20, 2000 & June 12, 2005) - With the game tied at 38-38 and 1.7 seconds remaining, Orlando Predators kicker David Cool drilled a 19-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Predators over the Nashville Kats in ArenaBowl XIV.

With the game knotted at 48-48 and just 3 seconds remaining Colorado Crush kicker Clay Rush netted a 20-yard field goal to send the Crush to their first ever championship at ArenaBowl XIX Las Vegas over the Georgia Force.

#20: The Confetti Game - (June 5, 2005) Unaware a defensive penalty had been called on the game's final play, a Pepsi Center employee prematurely fired confetti onto the field of play in celebration of a Colorado Crush win.  After several minutes of clean-up, the game resumed for one untimed down and the Chicago Rush scored to the tie the game at 43-43, sending it to overtime.  Despite the earlier mishap, the Crush went on to defeat the Rush 49-43, capturing the American Conference Championship and eventually winning ArenaBowl XIX Las Vegas.
